Read to the case story below, I’ll blow your mind with a proven way to expand your lead potential. When Bridget and I first started offering Realtor web design and working with the REALTOR® Association back in 2001 the focus solely was on website visits or “hits”. Our focus was on providing a means to show up-to-date real estate listings that required as little management by the REALTOR as possible.Fortunately, technology has improved to where we now now can focus on what we can do and offer that visitor while on our client’s real estate website.
One of the most important (and EXCITING ) aspects in recent years is the growth of social media. Never has a technology offered our Realtors a better opportunity to not only find a fresh source of leads but also create interactions with the lead’s friends and contacts. For the purpose of an article, we are referring to an “interaction” as a Facebook Like, Pinterest Pin, Instagram Post or Google + Share. Don’t worry, we’ll discuss each of these in a later article.
For now, you need only to understand ONE THING: Offering these means of “interactions” on your website is KEY to expanding your reach way beyond a simple visitor coming to your website.
How so? Let me provide a case study from an actual client…
Roy N. is a happily married fire chief in Virginia looking to retire to Florida with his wife in the upcoming year. His annual income is over 160K per year and he owns his existing home free and clear. He has cash on hand to easily qualify for a home in the $500K range without selling his home in Virginia. He and his wife began their search and located one of our client’s Gold Package Realtor websites to locate property for sale in Southwest Florida. He contacts our REALTOR and they begin a dialogue on arranging to show some homes on their next visit.
Mission Accomplished? NOPE, not yet!
While searching for homes, Roy and his wife share interesting homes from our Realtor’s website to Facebook for their friends to comment on. Guess what this did? Since Roy’s friends are in the same Age and Socio-Economic circles they too began to use the website to find homes and share with their friends.
Our client is now selling and working with Roy’s friends who are also retiring!
If you do not have these 3 little buttons on your website, you could be missing out on a FREE, simple way to get more leads. Don’t leave those leads on the table for someone else!
